he architectural practice “van den Oever, Zaaijer & Partners architecten” was founded in 1990 by ir. Hans van den Oever. In 1991 ir. Wouter Zaaijer joined the management. In 1996 the practice became a partnership of private companies with limited liability. In 2006 the company appointed as its partners ir John Bosch, architect, ir Jeroen Heijstee, architect, ir Cees den Ouden, architect/project manager, ir Lies Vosmer, architect, and ir Chris Zwiers, architect/town planner. In November 2007 mr. Victor Frequin was appointed managing director.

“van den Oever, Zaaijer & Partners architecten” (OZ-P) is one of the leading architectural practices in the Netherlands. Located in Amsterdam, with 75 employees (September 2009) coming from different countries, we have an international approach

We have organized ourselves within 4 departments:

• architecture
• urban development
• construction engineering
• interior design

We design and realize a wide range of innovative structures from exciting new architecture to complex renovations. In both the Netherlands and elsewhere, we have cooperated with other European and US based architects.

We respect our environment. Combining sustainability and quality, with functionality and feeling, that is our core competence. Conceptual architecture within the customer framework results in beautiful designs, buildings and interiors.

Within the Netherlands we have realized quite a number of projects in different market segments. Coming from a wide range of office buildings, we have expanded our activities during the years: schools, hotel and leisure, theatres and shops, urban planning, apartments and dwellings, medical and nursing, interiors.
Outside the Netherlands we have realized projects in Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia, Montenegro and Curacao.

In the Netherlands we participate at the Provada Real Estate fair, and for international contacts at Expo Real in Munich, Germany.

Corporate Social Responsibility, as we see it as architects, requires insight into ecology, economy and community. If we allow these to reinforce one another, we can create a sustainable environment for man, plants and animals, using minimal resources. Finding the right balance is our starting point in the design of buildings and spaces.
