EREC - European Real Estate Circles

Foundation’s activity

EREC (former SHBE ) - European Real Estate Circles is a Dutch initiative founded in 1992 and has since been active in Germany, the Netherlands and Croatia.
The “EREC” provides a platform on which the participating members can work together and it encourages the membership of German, Croatian and Dutch companies and institutions active in the real estate and construction industry.
In the past 18 years, EREC’s activities have focussed primarily on Germany, Croatia and the Netherlands, but our goal is to create an informal European network of real estate professionals in various disciplines.

Tasks of the foundation:

To promote co-operation and exchange of knowledge and experience at a European level in the Real Estate Industry. To create a broad basis accommodating a wide range of different kinds of co-operation, to provide a greater scope for the various specialist fields and to co-ordinate cross-border activities in Europe.

Mission Statement:

Creating an exclusive network environment for key professionals in the European real estate environment.
EREC (SHBE) is active in the following disciplines:

• Design and development of commercial and residential real estate
• Construction industry
• Renovation, revitalisation and renewal of real estate
• Urban planning and inner-city development
• Area re-development and sustainable building methods
• Management, maintenance and financing of real estate
• Eldery housing and care.

EREC organises quarterly Real Estate Circle meetings in Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Zagreb, Berlin and München and the
annual EREC European Real Estate Circles Regatta in Croatia. The 4Th  Sailing Regatta for international real estate professionals will take place in September 2010.
