A word of welcome from the Dutch Consul-general
German-Dutch relations are always very good and close. In April 2011, however, they were given extraordinary lustre by Queen Beatrix’ State Visit to the Federal Republic. Her Majesty paid particular attention to the strong economic ties between Germany and the Netherlands.
The strength of these ties is also apparent from the Dutch participation in the EXPO Real, one of the world’s most prominent real-estate and investment fairs. For the eighth time in a row the real-estate sector from the Netherlandsis collectively present at the Holland Property Plaza. Important cities and regions like Rotterdam, Tilburg and Venlo Greenport will be there, but you can also meet with other prospective partners from the Netherlands.
Mission
Stichting Holland Property Plaza (the Holland Property Plaza Foundation - HPP) brings together national real estate companies from the public and private sectors and promotes the Netherlands’ favourable business and investment climate among multinational companies. In addition, the Foundation is dedicated to promoting international development partnerships and aspires to be a meeting place where participants can both maintain existing professional relationships and establish new ones.
Platform
The Foundation’s platform for achieving this objective is a real estate square at the annual EXPO REAL property exhibition in Munich, which gives Dutch real estate companies, governments and other stakeholders the opportunity to participate from a variety of angles. Attendees include representatives from the national government, municipal governments, private developers, investors, architects and consultancy services.
Activities
In addition, HPP organises a series of “Flash” presentations during the 3-day exhibition, at the stand for the international visitors of the fair. Knowledge exchange between the various countries is the goal of these meetings. The exhibition floor will be used to host one or several activities each day, sponsored by one of the participating companies and organisations.
